Former Republican congresswoman Liz Cheney is now a professor of practice at UVA’s center for politics.
“I look forward to working with students and colleagues at the Center to advance the important work they and others at the University of Virginia are doing to improve the health of democracy here and around the world,” said Cheney.
In August Cheney lost her seat in Congress in a Wyoming primary after former President Trump backed her opponent Harriet Hageman.
There is speculation that Cheney may run for President next year.
