Former Governor Terry McAuliffe has been hired by George Mason University as a visiting professor at the Schar School for Policy and Government. The Governor will focus on “how workers can succeed in the increasingly global economy.” From the Richmond Times-Dispatch,
“We look forward to the many contributions that Gov. McAuliffe will make to the classroom, public forums, and commentary on the state of public affairs in the U.S. and abroad,” said Schar School Dean Mark J. Rozell.
I’m thrilled to join the Schar School and Mason community,” McAuliffe said. I’ve long admired the students and faculty here and am excited to work with them to explore some of the biggest challenges and opportunities for families living and working in the new American economy.”
While teaching at GMU McAuliffe will earn $60,000 a year which he will donate to charity. (I know the DNC is facing financial problems, but enough to call it a charity?)
Is McAuliffe killing time until he can head to Iowa and begin campaigning for the Democrat nomination for President in 2020?
