Just when we thought things could not get any weirder in CD 6, we have another “scandal” – one in which supposedly Dunbar Campaign Chair Matt Tederick sends out an email saying he is sorry for all the things which Mrs. Dunbar has done, and is now endorsing Ed Justo for Congress. The email is written in very broken English, meaning that either Mr. Justo is the author of this email, or the person is a person who does not speak English as their 1st language. Read the text of the email below:
Apology .Cynthia .Tedrerick
In Reference to Cynthia Dunbar report to the Federal Election Commission here.
I must inform you all that our Republic is in danger. And the danger does not come from others but from ourselves. We have failed you, and we have to correct this.
I am asking you all to vote for Ed Justo instead of Cynthia Dunbar as my personal opinion. I know he is not a devoted conservative Christian like us, but he is better than the other choices and surely better than Cline. He will surely defend our Constitution better, and our values better than any other candidate. Because he will listen to us as he has said repeatedly.
We have failed you by doing corrupt things, and doing things wrong and now we are even investigated by the State Bar not only the Federal Election commission. We have been blinded by the devil and done bad things. And we have to atone for them, so we ask you to vote for Ed Justo. I believe he is the only choice we deserve.
Ed Justo is a good candidate, is not establishment, and he is done no wrong even though we have lied and told you he has. We have checked him out for months with private eyes, tracked his bank accounts, even meddled into his taxes. Ed Justo is clean, has no law violations and is a better candidate. So I ask you to vote for him, to vote for Ed Justo, on the primary.
Pray for us and for what we have done. We were blinded by our greed and failed ourselves and you, the voters. We ask you to remedy this by voting for Ed Justo instead of Cynthia Dunbar, and pray for all of us. Lets save our country by voting for a non establishment candidate that knows what he is doing, and is not corrupt in any way.
Now normally no one would pay attention to the rantings of a failing campaign, not to mention the ghastly grammar and spelling errors. Mr. Justo has gone after me personally, calling me publicly an “Arab” (which I am not) and a “Dunbar clone” (difficult because I am not supporting Mrs. Dunbar). A quicker look into Mr. Justo’s record shows that he has not voted in a Republican primary in the past decade. This does not make Mr. Justo a Democrat so to speak. But it does call into question Mr. Justo’s party loyalties at a time when we need them the most. And leaves one to wonder why is everyone so afraid of Mrs. Dunbar? To listen to other campaigns talk, you would think that Mrs. Dunbar, who is an originalist when it comes to the Constitution – hates Thomas Jefferson and slept with ½ her students while teaching law at Liberty. One bizarre columnist for a rival to TBE has implied that Mrs. Dunbar is blaming illegal immigrants for crime (Well DUH of course illegals are breaking federal statues by coming here illegally – hence the name illegals) to suggesting that Mrs. Dunbar wants to get rid of I-81.
We have such a fine crop of candidates also. Delegate Ben Cline, who has been a hero when it comes to 2nd Amendment issues and taking on the big spending liberals in our party. Chaz Haywood is an outstanding man, one who is well respected as the local Clerk of the Court in Rockingham. And we have some fascinating newcomers to the fold. Elliot Pope and Mike Desjadon are the future of our party. And if they’re our future, then our future is bright indeed. Dr. Douglas Wright, a guy who originally came across as being out of his league, has found his mojo and is becoming a pretty darn good speaker on the stump and quite the engaging candidate.
It’s time for the other candidates to stop lobbing stupid at Mrs. Dunbar, and maybe explain their own positive traits for why they should be the nominee. Each time I hear Mr. Pope speak, he reminds me about why we are so lucky to be Americans. And how we need to “breathe the US Constitution into a new generation of our youth”. Or listen to Mke Desjadon talk in great detail about what is wrong with the health care industry, and how he is the best person to cobble together legislation to replace Obama Care. Supporters of Ben Cline, Chaz Haywood, and the other candidates need to pay attention to this new generation, they’re going to show us a few things about building our party and about building a message which resonates. As for Mr. Justo – let me state for the record a few things.
- I am an American, not an Arab. I was born here in the US, and can trace my ancestors back to the year 1650 when they came in from New Haven Connecticut. Insulting delegates is never a winning strategy. Unless you’re trying to lose.
- Tederick is NOT spelled Tedrerick. US Congressmen need to be able to spell properly.
- I admire the heck out of Cynthia Dunbar. But that does not mean I am supporting her. I admire the heck out of Chaz Haywood also. As well as Ben Cline, Elliot Pope, Mike Desjadon, and am becoming a huge fan of Dr. Wright. Insulting delegates who will determine your future is never a good idea – unless you want to lose of course.

It might just be me, but I’m thinking District of the Year (Unless the 10th elects Shak of course.)
The first sentence of the post is somewhat unclear to me.
Did Mr. Tederick actually send the e-mail? Did someone attempt to make it appear as if Tederick had sent it (which, to me, would be very serious)? Or, was it clear that the e-mail was from an opponent of Ms. Dunbar in an attempt at satire or whatever?
I don’t live in the 6th but do try to pay attention, so sorry if I’m missing something that should be obvious.
The email was sent by someone pretending to be Matt Tederick.
Did this by any chance involve a gmail account and spouse cellphone? I believe something like this might have happened in another contest (except that was with ninjas and WiFi in Upperville.)
Good question. I’ll check the email out and get back to you
My dear Rocinante. Here is the email used.
Well I’m convinced. Thanks.
Seems Massoud sent it. So he could have smear to spread about me lol. Sad, really. But please: ignore this and visit my opinions and positions on issues at facebook.com/edgop6district
Focus on the issues, not the smear
Justo’s invectives against Dunbar are nothing short of obsession. Nevertheless, Republicans richly deserve to attract such equal opportunists, given their “big tent” cultural Marxist mentality. The Party reaps what it sows, including the blatantly unhinged among its ranks. It should, therefore, nominate Dunbar if there’s anywhere an ounce of intelligence left in the gray matter of its affiliates who might still view Communism as abhorrent.
Can you guys pull Dunbar over the line if the rigging is successful or will this be your Judge Roy Moore moment?
Remember, he pissed off the Republicans of his state as well.
This could be the Holy Grail of posts
About the Sixth District R primary.
The letter has everything …it’s …operatic
It has a reference to the devil..not the
Flip Wilson Devil made me do it devil , but the real

Word to the wise , if you’re traveling on Interstate 81
In that area, travel carefully , daylight only , and please
Please don’t pull into any rest areas for a nap.
And keep the windows rolled up.
So. You have proof I wrote that email Mr Taxi driver?
*Seek the truth. Ask for proof*.
For all we know, you wrote that e-mail to justify your bashing tactic. You wrote it, to have a topic for this article. So it is true: you are fake news. Didn’t believe it when someone told me. Gave you the benefit of doubt. Clearly, they were right.
Yet, you have heard none of my ideas, nor read my facebook/edgop6district. Covering your ears screaming *Ed is bad, Ed is evil* to convince the voices in your head.
Had you even searched, inquired and reviewed, you would know I am so much more. You would know I know more.
You would know I have read the tax bill, the budget, the onmibus, the farm and many other Bills. And I can pin point each bad, and good thing, in them. What a politician that seeks to represent people should do.
You would know, I know, about business like yours, taxi; renting vehicles to be used by illegal aliens to drive for Uber, or as cabbies.
You would know I, with various organizations, pushed for the passing of a bill that creates a database of victims of trafficking (sadly, your politicians refused to include the traffickers).
You would know that my constant fighting, for the people, against DHS has been the caused of many changes in regulation. Like CIS ranking of lawyers and filers; so they put the most expert agents on cases filed by shady people. Like DHS filing and formats. And many others too much to tell.
Or that, here in VA, I pushed for the State to cut funding free civil litigation and legal services for illegal aliens years ago (Obenshain might recall).
But you didn’t. Actually, YOU threatened me at the Shenandoah county mass meeting. Aggressively telling me “If you call me Arab again I will kill you”.
So, again: your mouth is full of words, but your actions full of spite. And your spite, likely, made that email to justify this colimn. A sad position for a a taxi driver who makes me think Napoleon suffered from Massoud syndrome.
I pitty you. Therefore, I pray for you.
Mr. Massoud claims to know so much about the 6th district race but forgot to even mention Katherine Lewis. I believe he is blinded by his own personal agenda. So sad….
Ms. Lewis’ name was specifically left off this list for multiple reasons. Among them questions about whether or not she lives inside the 6th District. I watched her perform very well at the first debate in Augusta County. Then quite frankly she didn’t do as well at the Front Royal forum. She has missed multiple events and not sent a surrogate. Those and several other reasons are why she was left off this list.
Mr Massoud. 11 witnesses. All saw you approach me while I talked eith Mrs Kwiatouski. You approached me. You angrily pointed the finger at me. You told me “call me Arab again and I’ll kill you”.
You can claim it as you want. V.C. of Hburg, candidates, locals, reporters. Everyone saw it.
Then again: lies are your thing. Aww Lord you lie! But I pity you. Therefore I pray for you.
Let’s go to the videotape!
Again for the record, at the Shenandoah County GOP convention, you walked towards me in an aggressive manner and I pointed to you and told you to “watch yourself ” and then pointed behind you as if to say keep out of my space.
If you think that means something else…..
So more of a saunter than a sashay?
You are the witty one my dear Rocinante
Some candidates get better as campaigns goes on, others go off the rails. I think Mr. Massoud should embrace the opportunity to become the first (and probably only) Arab Dunbar Clone supporter of Cynthia Dunbar..
He gets a Shak, She gets a Shak, they get a Shak everybody gets a Shak — at least one for every district.
At some point, at some event, after copious libation, somebody has to explain to me how the Chairman Whitbeck and the RPV manages to somehow pack Republican drama and sheer insanity into just about every Congressional District. It can’t be random, has to be choreographed or perhaps some kind of twisted penance for the indulging the fringe.
Mr. Justo tried to convince ME that Mr. Massoud is the owner and manager of The Bull Elephant because John is gracious enough to let us publish his articles. SMH
Lol
So many puppeteers, so much string.
Wait… what????
