The Obama’s have expanded their family with the addition of a 14 month old Portuguese water dog named Sunny. She joins current 1st dog Bo at the White House. Bo had been a gift from the late Ted Kennedy who also had two Portuguese water dogs who were frequently seen playing on the lawns around the Congress.
Sunny arrived at the White House from Michigan on Sunday. It is reported that the Obamas will make a donation to the Washington Humane Society in an undisclosed amount.
