What is in a Name? And what’s in a Promise?
At a recent community gathering, I was approached by the father of Congresswoman Barbara Comstock. I told him that regrettably I could not support Barbara any longer, despite years of campaigning for her in my position as Seneca Precinct Captain.
I told Mr. Burns that I was now supporting Shak Hill against Barbara in the June 12 Republican primary. He became visibly annoyed and declared that “Shak ain’t sh*t”. Furthermore Burns claimed that Shak is an imposter and that “Shak” isn’t even his real name. I asked him for proof, but he had none.
The patrician Montgomery Vanderbilt Burns, Esq. the 3rd, [not his real name] comes from elitist Massachusetts where apparently appearances count more than substance.
So, what is in a name – and the message behind that name?
I would describe Shak with one word … which speaks to all the issues in his platform … “Constitution”. It is the bedrock of our law and the exceptionalism that defines America.
The woes in Washington … dysfunctional Congress … corrupt bureaucracy … crisis in our institutions … all stem from a systemic Betrayal of the Constitution, “BC”, initials I also see in Barbara Comstock’s name. Has she spoken out about the outrages committed by the IRS, FBI, DOJ, DOS? Any push-back against the malfeasance of the mainstream media? Any challenge to the outlaw Sheriff of Fairfax who opened our neighborhoods to more gang violence?
BC has lost her way in the government swamp … and betrays the taxpayer each time she votes for another un-Constitutional boondoggle: transgender surgeries, illegal amnesty, hush-money for sexual harassment, and continually funding Planned Parenthood, … pork, pork, pork.
For those who argue we must keep the Republican Devil rather than risk electing a Democrat Devil, this is a false premise. BC’s voting record is already on par with Pelosi and Schumer.
Mr. Burns told me that BC needs to pull Left and “compromise” to win. False. The 10th District has voted against the Democrat in Senate, Presidential and Gubernatorial races for the past 6 years. Compromise with un-Constitutional crimes?? Fidelity to the Constitution requires courageous leadership … not a coward who plays the patsy in dumbing-down America.
I cannot remember BC using the word “Constitution” once. Instead, her hair is on-fire with every non-issue and farce of political correctness … trying to out-liberal Liberals at their own un-Constitutional game. So bitter is her betrayal.
Patrick Henry might argue that it is natural to expect treason from a traitor … but absolutely intolerable to give sanctuary to one in our own camp.
Shak is not a politician. He is a Patriot. He deserves our support. Visit his website or attend one of his events. You will be glad to know more about the man named Shak.
