Geary Higgins made the unfortunate mistake in thinking that the county attorney and staff are there to help him. Geary seems to blindly rely on what “they” tell him. The Raspberry Falls fiasco is a great example of how the kind and gentle Mr. Higgins could not get our issues resolved but the matter dragged on and on. We need a strong leader that staff cannot push around, that will show up to meetings well read and well prepared to ask the right questions. I strongly support Dallas Nash to get things done for all of Catoctin.
No Leesburg district filer?
Let’s Go Noble! Chapman has gotten crazier by the minute. His latest policy initiative of telling a Major (who used to be one of the good guys, but not any more) to tell the line staff to “quit bitching, or you will be made an example of” during roll-calls went over really well. The brass he brought in or promoted can’t even show their faces anymore without either yelling at employees or falling apart at the seems. Sheriff’s Office needs new leadership stat.
I am VERY glad to see Dallas Nash is running against Geary Higgins. Catoctin needs an aggressive LEADER that will make up his own mind, challenge staff on their crappy decisions and personal agendas, and uphold the rule of law. Geary misses too many meetings and does not appear to read through the voluminous background materials and staff reports to thoroughly understand those things he votes on.
No Mital?
No. Mital did not file. What a shocker.
