Secession and sedition

In the 1850s, Democrats threatened secession and then did so.  In 2025, Democrats advocated for sedition within the US military.  Things never change.  History is repeating.

By now, most Americans are aware of the video being referred to as the product of the Seditious Six, Democrat Congressmen and Congress women all with military or intelligence backgrounds.  In that video, they remind the troops that they do not have to follow illegal orders.  

The problem, however, is not in the statement of what is well known regarding unlawful orders but the context in which the Seditious Six statement was made.  This was not in a classroom with new recruits, it was openly directed at the entire military and carried the weight of Congress.  In other words, it wasn’t benign and informative, it was deadly and seditious.  (President Trump rightfully called it what it was, sedition, and noted that the result of such sedition could be the death penalty.)

Timing is also significant.  This Seditious Six video wasn’t something prescheduled for publication or release.  It was sprung on the public and the military with no prior notice. Worst of all, it did not specify any particular order that was unlawful.  In other words, there was no reason for it at this time.  It had no purpose other than a political one aimed at the US military   

Not surprisingly, the Seditious Six, reacting out of concern or fear, solicited their democrat colleagues to attack Trump for stating the appropriate long standing law against sedition.  Democrats lined up in mass and accused Trump of calling for the murder of opponents.  (This is one of the more bizarre claims it is Trump who was victimized by two assassination attempts.)

There are few things more dangerous than the politicization of the US military.  For example, Biden literally turned the military into a clown show that resulted in a massive decline of recruitment and readiness.  The Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, acted quickly to get rid of the clowns.  Recruitment surged and readiness is improving.  (The banana republic military of the Biden era is gone and the world knows it.)

It is apparent that the Democrats will resort to any measure to undermine President Trump.  Past attempts among others include:  Russiagate; bankruptcy, imprisonment and assassination; a stolen presidential election; multiple orchestrated no kings protests; and the longest shutdown of government in history.  The current attempt is the seditious appeal to the US military.

If this constant and escalating attempt to overthrow the American government isn’t stopped, then American will cease to exist or collapse into civil war.  I hope that the Seditious Six are arrested and tried as that is the only way to curtail this growing problem of destruction of the Constitution and the American Rule of Law.
