Recently Senator Bryce (R-Spotsylvania) won his nomination to represent his party in the newly drawn 28th in a race for state senate. Senator Reeves won handily with 76% of the vote. He is currently a third-term incumbent in the 17th district.
Senator Reeves has issued a statement endorsing Glen Sturtevant over Sen. Amanda Chase in the 12th district:
“Conservatives of the 12th Senatorial District have a crucial decision to make in the June 20 primary. I am grateful to have just won a decisive primary victory with 76% of the vote here in the 28th District. Voters soundly rejected my ‘do nothing, get nothing done’ opponent who was endorsed and fully backed by Amanda Chase. You have a real opportunity this June to help Governor Youngkin and our team achieve the Senate majority this year, which is critical to our legislative success. I am asking you to please vote for my former seatmate and conservative candidate Glen Sturtevant. Glen has the knowledge, skills, and ability to get conservative policy passed and onto the Governor’s desk for signing. Day one, he will walk into the office battle ready and battle tested. If you like winning, then please understand this: to win this November, we need team players who have a vision for the future of Virginia, and the only person who fits the bill in District 12 is Glen Sturtevant.”
