On this Facebook page Mike Chapman claims he has the endorsement of the Loudoun County Tea Party. That couldn’t be further from the truth. The page he refers to is a fake Loudoun Tea Party page, one that was set up to in 2011 solely to endorse Chapman for Sheriff. It’s a virtual Tea Party page only, it has no members and it has no meetings. It has no affiliation with the real Tea Party of Loudoun County, the group that meets in Loudoun on the second Tuesday of the month and is chaired by Dr. Daniel Brubaker.
The real Tea Party of Loudoun County in no way supports Mike Chapman. The real Tea Party of Loudoun County does not have a Facebook page. I have spoken with Ron Wilcox, the Northern Virginia Tea Party Chairman and the chairman of the Loudoun Tea Party, Dr. Daniel Brubaker, and both of them assured me that the Tea Party is supporting Eric Noble. They will soon release their endorsement of Eric Noble. They have no idea who set up this phony Tea Party Facebook 4 years ago to promote Chapman but the group is in no way affiliated with the Tea Party of Loudoun County. Those of you who appear as a supporter on the fake page should remove your names immediately. “Unlike” the page so you are not affiliated with these people or their deceitful endorsement. They are NOT associated in any way with the Tea Party.
Sheriff Chapman chose to promote this phony endorsement, knowing full well the Tea Party of Loudoun county has not endorsed him and in fact they support his opponent Eric Noble. Shame on Mike Chapman for lying about this endorsement just before the convention. Just another example of why he should not be Sheriff. We don’t need a sheriff who lies and deceives the people Loudoun county.
