A strategy memo for the then nascent Virginia Conservative Network outlines plans to demonize and chase out conservatives from the GOP, while “forestalling as many primary challenges as possible.”

Calling it the Virginia Conservative Network, Cantor and Comstock were joined as speakers at the group’s inaugural meeting on Saturday by George and Susan Allen, and Virginia House Majority Leader Del. Kirk Cox (R-Colonial Heights).
