Donald J Trump is an extraordinary man and was an extraordinary president. His entry into the political scene was bombastic and his departure was chaotic. In between is a presidential legacy that is unlikely to be matched.
His deregulation of the American economy to make America great again is likely to be his greatest accomplishment. Through actions to free American businesses and entrepreneurs from the chains of global socialist policies and overarching government bureaucracy, he created an economic boom that exploded employment opportunities for all Americans and made America energy independent. As part of this process, he demanded that enterprises doing business in America make things in America.
Then there is the unexpected miracle of mid-East peace – something that was presumed impossible. Because of his unconventional approach to friends and enemies alike, remarkable things happened. Exactly what he did and how he achieved such success on the world scene is unfathomable, but it is indisputable that what he did worked. He is worthy of a Nobel Peace prize, but he will not likely get it because he is a capitalist.
The last item on this short list is his response to the Chinese communist pandemic. Not only did he shut down the country and suspend the economic boom, but he then created a program to find a cure. In less than a year, warp speed produced a variety of vaccines and treatments – something that had taken years to do in the past.
His biggest failure was selecting individuals who had prospered within the DC swamp. In particular, his DOJ and FBI picks proved to be useless, and the corruption and criminality of politics has been left untouched as a result. (The entirety of his presidency was dogged by an open coup that resulted in a bogus impeachment driven by the hatred of his political enemies. His only recourse was to go directly to the people through numerous rallies that exposed what was going on. The silent majority appreciated his efforts on their behalf.)
So, thank you Donald J Trump.
