Having served for over forty-five years in the Government of the United States of America my involvement in political affairs is relatively new and has been an eye-opening phenomenon for me. As did many baby boomers, I came of age when even though political parties had competing agendas, at the end of the day, they would eventually compromise and do what was best for the nation. Unfortunately, since my recent dive into politics at the local level I have seen a rather disturbing trend.
Where once we were rivals it appears the Democrat Party sees many Republicans like me as the enemy where the means even though they may be unethical or illegal justify the means. One only looks no further than the recent findings of the recent Durham Report to see evidence of this disturbing trend.
On an even larger scale, the recent COVID-19 Pandemic illustrated how those in political power are more than willing and even eager to exert their power among the masses – submit or suffer the consequences. This occurred not only in the United States but on a global scale despite medical evidence to the contrary. Anxiety and fear were used to subjugate and dominate and enable those in power to maintain control.
Of course, out of the Pandemic came the destruction of the economy which helped the Democrats win the 2020 elections, the destruction of our children’s education and their socialization, the loss of the American work ethic, degraded law and order, and the destruction of private businesses large and small. However, when all of us saw this happening, we did not fight back but merely complied.
The naïve side of me says this was simply an anomaly never to happen again but the rational side of me says this was done by design with the intent of breaking the middle class, degrading or economic system of Capitalism, and making the masses subservient to the government – all tenants of Marxism. Unfortunately, while on active military service I saw first-hand the failed results of Marxism. The goal of Marxism is to create a classless society where everyone works for a common good may be a noble goal but has yet to be achieved. What I saw were a privileged and affluent few and the poor masses where everyone did have a job although it may be only to sweep the streets.
Unfortunately, every day I see members of the Democrat Party at all levels attempt to exert their dominance over those who do not share their beliefs by attempting to cancel them and dominate such previously nonpolitical bodies as local Schools Boards and County Governments. Once I would have thought this was by accident but now, I am convinced it is done intentionally by people who may think they are doing the right thing but in reality, they are merely the foot soldiers among us for a cause designed to usurp our individual liberties and freedom.
Think it cannot happen here, well think again my friend.
