The Road not Taken

written by James Poplar September 23, 2024

Despite the constant harangues by the Democratic Party that Republicans  are a  “threat to democracy”  this  election is a choice between two radically divergent  paths for America.  A Republican Administration  will enable America to continue as the  economic powerhouse and leader of the free world.  Whereas a Democratic Administration  will ensure that America follow the path of failed states such as Venezuela which was once the economic powerhouse of South America.  Democrats under the guise of globalism seek not to create new wealth and prosperity but rather to redistribute the hard-won fruits of the American free enterprise system. It is really that simple.

The Democratic Party has a proven track record of abusing power and that continues to this day. The Internal Revenue Service’s targeting of the Tea Party and other conservative organizations;  the “Russia Collusion” that was a  political hoax;  the suppression of the Hunter Biden Laptop story by Big Tech and subsequent claims by former Democratic Intelligence Officials that the laptop was “Russian Disinformation;” the obvious two-tiered system of justice regarding the handling of classified information by former and current Chief Executives, and the list goes on and on.

The Democratic Party continues to push for a bigger and all-encompassing federal government and with it more radical forms of identity politics. Its ideology continues to divide Americans into narrow group identities, feeding on their grievances (perceived or actual) and exacerbates divisions among Americans. An America that once proudly proclaimed “E pluribus unum” is now a nation fractured and divided.  Its Chief Executive, who ran on a platform to unite the country soon after the election openly scorned half of its electorate. We are a nation once based on individual merit and but now considers any difference in outcome, any form of inequality, to be based on systemic racism or  sexism.

Many democrats now hold our most important constitutional principles such as free speech and the right of assembly as illegitimate. One only has to look at  its recent support by Democrats of Hamas to see that many in the party are now  anti-Semitic. Its suppression of opposing ideologies  is seen as perceived threat to their power  hold and justifies the means. The Democratic Party’s drift toward a bigger government and radical identity politics continues unabated as the party continues to be  out of touch with the majority of Americans.

At the end of the day this November America like Robert Frost will face two divergent roads – Capitalism which will  lead to continued economic growth and prosperity, Globalism which will lead  to economic decline and decay.  Like Robert Frost’s dilemma of choosing two divergent paths in life I plan to take “the road less traveled” – Capitalism. I suggest, regardless of whether you are a Republican, Democrat, or Independent that you choose wisely and do the same. As Frost stated it “will make all the difference.” America and her future generations are counting on you to make a difficult but obligatory choice – vote Republican !

This country is in big trouble and so is the Democrat Party. Two failed assassination attempts by Democrats, the worst President in US history, raging inflation, raging racism against white people, 30 million illegal aliens draining our funds and riding a crime wave, weakness abroad for all to see, etc. and the best the Left can offer us is a giggling nincompoopa and a man who watched mobs destroy Minneapolis?? I thought Carter was the worst president but Obama took that title away and then Biden lowered the bar even further. It is incredible to me that the best the Left could come up with is Kamarama the Ding Dong and Phony ‘combat’ soldier Walz. A Harris Walz administration would deliver a fatal blow of inept communism to our once great country.
