Tina Freitas, the darling of the Liberty Movement, has scored a major endorsement against her opponent, Senator Emmett Hanger in their upcoming primary. Senator David Suetterlein has just endorsed Tina Freitas in her primary race against Senator Hanger. Their primary is June 11.

Sen. David Suetterlein Endorses Tina Freitas for Senate
Says nominating Freitas gives “Virginia a chance at a pro-life, conservative Senate majority”
Roanoke County, VA, June 3, 2019: Senator David Suetterlein (R-Roanoke County) today endorsed Tina Freitas for the Republican nomination for Senate in the 24th District, releasing the following statement:
“I am endorsing Tina Freitas for Senate because Virginia needs strong, reliable conservative leadership.
“Tina Freitas will be a faithful and consistent defender of innocent human life and will work to ensure no tax dollars will be allocated for its destruction. She will put our children first by supporting increased education opportunities. She will put the interests of taxpayers ahead of the special interests. She will be a consistent and unwavering vote for the 2nd Amendment rights of all law-abiding Virginians. And, she will stand strong for ratepayers against politically connected corporate electric monopolies.
“I do not expect to agree with Tina on every single vote. But, her honest, issues-based campaign is representative of the kind of principled conservative voice I know she will be in the Senate of Virginia. I hope conservative voters in the 24th Senatorial District will join me in supporting Tina Freitas in the June 11 Republican Primary, and give Virginia a chance at a pro-life, conservative Senate majority in November.”
Senator David Suetterlein represents the 19th Senatorial District, which includes the City of Salem and Floyd County, and portions of Bedford, Carroll, Franklin, Montgomery, Roanoke, and Wythe Counties.”
Make no mistake about this, Tina Freitas is definitely someone who the Hanger campaign is afraid of. Tina has been out there talking to voters, going to each region of the District and asking for their vote. Even more importantly, she has been asking what is important to the voters. I have witnessed this on multiple occasions. The “Coffee With Tina” meet and greets have been a raging success. Hanger has gone full Democrat in trying to stay in power, sending out mailers which state that if Freitas is elected, then hundreds of thousands of Virginians will lose their health care. Hanger has also been endorsed by the Vice Chair of the Waynesboro Democratic party. In years past, Democrats have been Hanger’s base.
