TJHSST Admission Statistics

The latest admission statistics for Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology, the class of 2017, can be found here.  Of the 3, 121 students who applied for admission, 480 were admitted.   The percent of Asians continues to grow, 66% of the incoming class, while the percentage of White and Black students continues to decline, with 25.6% of the incoming class being white and only 1% being Black.  Most of those admitted came from public schools, 92.3%.   The details for next fall should be released in April and will be posted on The Bull Elephant.
