Former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden have agreed to two debates. The first will be June 27, hosted by CNN.
Biden wants the debates in studio without an audience. He also wants microphones that will automatically cut off. This means that Trump cannot challenge Biden’s responses. Biden will make memorized statements without any response from Trump. Biden agreed to attend debates hosted by CNN, ABC News, Telemundo and CBS News. In other words, Biden has chosen to debate only on networks that are friendly to him. (Did Biden demand these rules, hoping Trump would find them unacceptable? Hopefully Trump will have some demands of his own.)
The second debate will be hosted by ABC on September 10th.
Trump has requested a debate in October hosted by FoxNews, with moderators Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum. There is no evidence that Biden will accept that debate.
It appears that only Biden is permitted to determine the terms of debate, as well as the dates, hosts, and rules.
Originally a third debate was to take place at the Historically Black University, Virginia State University in Petersburg. But that debate was dropped from the schedule. Needless to say, Virginia leaders were not happy. More details, with comments from Virginia Senators, here.

Both these 80ish year old children should either be locked in a jail or a nursing home. Only a child would watch these two. The fake debates should be in a cartoon type format. There will be no debating. It’s all BS to feed the media. The fake questions are submitted in advance. Neither of these two have any idea how to answer anything. Being president is all about one thing. That is being the “director” of where trillions of deficit dollars are headed. The U.S. has no economy without deficit spending. And, the wars are supported by the defense munitions industry via campaign and PAC money, ala the K St. lobby. The U.S. is a con job, nothing more. Cut off the deficit dollars going to Europe and their imports coming into the U.S., and see which countries support US foreign policy. Actually, SOS Bilken is flying to China and Israel kissing their asses. The U.S. does not dictate what Russian, China, and Israel does. We need China’s cheap labor. Russia and China, neither is the biggest enemy of the U.S., nope, the U.S. is its own biggest enemy. By far its own biggest threat. SCOTUS has to tell people which bathroom to use…….

Biden will fly to the wrong city and talk to a wall.
It is not a debate if there is no give and take.
