VCVP Chairman Del. Ben Cline Releases Statement of Support

Rockbridge – Delegate Ben Cline (R-24) announced today that the Virginia Conservative Victory Project, which he founded in 2013 and which has helped elect several conservatives to state and local office, is endorsing the re-election campaigns of, and donating $1,000 each to, Delegate Dickie Bell (R-20), Delegate Nick Freitas (R-30), Delegate Steve Landes (R-25), Delegate Dave LaRock (R-33), Delegate Michael Webert (R-18), and Delegate Tony Wilt (R-26).

“These Delegates have a proven voting record of supporting solid conservative legislation,” said Del. Cline. “The goal of the Virginia Conservative Victory Project is to help make the House more conservative by electing more like-minded Delegates. Re-electing these Delegates is part of this project.”

The General Election for these seats will be decided on Tuesday November 7. Voters can go to their usual voting location from 6am to 7pm. Delegate Dickie Bell represents the 24th District, which is made up of the cities of Staunton and Waynesboro, all of Highland County and parts of Augusta and Nelson counties. Delegate Freitas represents the 30th District, which is made up of all of Madison and Orange counties and part of Culpeper County. Delegate Steve Landes represents the 25th District which is made up of parts of Albemarle, Augusta, and Rockingham counties. Delegate Dave LaRock represents the 33rd District, which is made of parts of Clarke, Frederick, and Loudoun counties. Delegate Michael Webert represents the 18th District which, is made up of all of Rappahannock County and parts of Culpeper, Fauquier, and Warren counties. Delegate Tony Wilt represents the City of Harrisonburg and parts of Rockingham County.

First elected to the House of Delegates in 2002, Ben Cline has been a strong advocate of conservative policies in Virginia.  He assumed the co-Chairmanship of the Conservative Caucus in 2008 and has aggressively fought for policies that emphasize family, faith, and freedom, and he has led the fight against higher taxes and heavy-handed government bureaucracy.  To help elect more conservatives in the House who embrace these policies, Cline launched the Virginia Conservative Victory Project in 2013.   For more information on Ben Cline and the Victory Project, visit VCVF.org online or on Facebook.
