Listening to WMAL radio today, Rich Anderson, chairman of the Virginia Republican Party, announced that Virginia is now a battleground state in this year’s Presidential election.
Anderson said that the Republican National Committee will be giving Virginia money to help in our efforts to turn Virginia Red. Also Trump will be coming to Virginia to hold his well known rallies.
Another source said that Trump will soon begin to set up offices here.
All of the money and effort spent in Virginia will certainly help our down ballot candidates running for the US Senate and House.

Will this information be sent to the Republican Units/Committees? When? Will the strategies to be employed be communicated early? Will a system to link the units (at least those contiguous to one another) be developed so we can share ideas, issues, problems as expressed by the voters?
Maybe this will light a fire under Rich Anderson. Earlier last month, I had the opportunity to ask him what efforts were underway to register new voters in Virginia. His reply: “Well, maybe we should think about that.” It was JUNE!!
