This evening former Delegate Joe Morrissey will wed Myrna Pride the mother of two of his children. Morrissey went to jail for his sexual relationship with Pride when she was an underage receptionist in his law office. The couple’s children are Chase age 1 and Bella age 2 months.
The wedding will take place this evening at Morrissey’s family farm in Varina, Virginia. There will be two officiants,Father Wayne Ball of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, and Pastor A. Lincoln James of Trinity Baptist Church. The outdoor wedding will be attended by 250 guests. The couple will honeymoon in Saint Thomas.
Morrissey is currently running for Mayor of Richmond.
