The article was about who received the PAC money, not who donated to the PAC. No one ever said these mega donors to the PAC were grassroots people but I’m happy their donations will help our candidates win in November.
Yes you are correct about the piece being about who received not who contributed.
I merely posted this (and thanks for not removing) so the average Virginian could see where the vast amount of money comes from. I also expect that the vast amount of average Virginians no that they don’t have a voice via their elected representatives when those contributions will be paid back in committee or on the floor of Virginians General Assembly.
You must remember those big donors, particularly those two at the top, are giving Youngkin’s PAC big bucks in the hope he’ll run for President next year. They can easily afford those big bucks, they are VERY successful and very wealthy. I don’t begrudge them spending money on things that are important to them like a Youngkin Presidency.
I am one of those little guys who give my candidates rather small amounts of money because I think they are the best candidates for the job. I very much want Republicans elected this year. It’s so important. Therefore I gave some money to the candidate and friend who I thought needed it the most. Even with the small amounts I give candidates I have never had any problems reaching out to them with my concerns. But, yes, I am well aware that having a well read political blog which also helps.
