Democrats need to get out of the way, a big Republican wave is coming. Could there be any more proof than the latest poll in one of the bluest of blue states, Maryland, where the Republican candidate for Governor Larry Hogan has closed the gap to a mere 2 points, well within the margin of error. [read_more]Obama made a campaign stop in Maryland last weekend for Democrat Anthony Brown. Democrats began heading for the exits before Obama had even finished speaking. Polls saw a 9% surge for Hogan following Obama’s visit to Maryland. Voters in Maryland are concerned about taxes and the economy while democrat Anthony Brown continues to focus on the social issues. During Brown’s tenure as Maryland’s Lt. Governor taxes have been raised 40 times, including a tax on rain, costing Marylanders $9.5 BILLION. Even some liberal democrats in Maryland have had enough.
Other states echo what’s happening in Maryland. In Georgia recent polling points to a win by Republican David Perdue. The most recent polls in North Carolina show Democrat Kay Hagan’s lead has evaporated. Republican Cory Gardner in Colorado is dominating the recent polls. In Iowa Joni Ernst has been leading in all polls over the last month, with the exception of one tied poll.
Even more amazing, a Republican, Charlie Baker, is leading the race for Governor in MASSACHUSETTS! A Republican candidate for Governor is also leading in New Hampshire . Republican Scott Brown is closing the gap for Senate in New Hampshire.

UPDATES: Scott Brown has now moved ahead in NH and three liberal democrats in blue states could lose because of high taxes in those states.
