The Islamic State magazine Dabiq, a recruiting tool for Isis, has labeled Senator Dick Black and two other Americans as enemies of Isis. The others are Presidential hopeful Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) and CIA veteran and author Gary Berntsen. The magazine quotes all three men criticizing Isis along with large pictures of the three.[read_more]
On Tuesday the Capitol Hill police contacted Senator Black with the news of his targeting by Isis. He has not shared with us what, if any, security procedures are being taken to protect the Senator but this is obviously a very serious threat.
“Capitol police called me yesterday afternoon,” Black said on Tuesday. “They just wanted to be sure that I was aware of it because, of course, ISIS has been an ultra-violent organization. These are people who have been burning people in cages and beheading them.”
Today Senator Black said,
“I feel a solidarity with the Coptic Christians and innocent Muslims who are being persecuted every day. I believe strongly in free speech and for the freedom and freedom of religion and this stands in opposition to the beliefs of ISIS. America has to stop training the Syrian rebels who flow directly into ISIS. If Syria falls, within weeks, Lebanon and Jordan will also fall and then they will ultimately advance toward Europe.”
That has consistently been Senator Black’s message, STOP TRAINING THE SYRIAN REBELS !
