In March The Bull Elephant reported Jewan “Jack” Tiwari would challenge Delegate David Ramadan in the 87th district. Since then Delegate Ramadan has decided not to seek re-election. Now there’s another change in the district.[read_more] Jack Tiwari has withdrawn from the race and been replaced by John Bell who ran for the seat in 2013 and lost by a mere 187 votes.
Republicans have not yet announced their candidate for the 87th district.
