In two weeks, Monday September 26th at 9:00 pm, the first Presidential debate will be held at Hofstra University in New York with NBC news anchor Lester Holt moderating. One hundred million people are expected to watch it even though it conflicts with Monday night football.
Trump has said he would prefer to debate Hillary without moderators.
“The fact is that they’re gaming the system, and I think, maybe, we should have no moderator,” Trump told CNBC. “Let Hillary and I sit there and just debate because I think the system is being rigged so it’s gonna be a very unfair debate, and I can see it happening right now because everyone’s saying that he was soft on Trump.”
The second debate will be in a Town Hall format on Sunday October 9th at Washington University in Missouri. It will be hosted by ABC News co-anchor Martha Raddatz and CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper. This one will also conflict with football.
The last debate will be held at the University of Nevada in Las Vegas on Wednesday October 19, just a couple of weeks before the election on November 8th. This debate will be moderated by Fox News anchor Chris Wallace.
The Vice Presidential debate will be held on Tuesday October 4th at Longwood University in Farmville, VA. It will be anchored by Elaine Quijano, anchor at CBSN and correspondent with CBS News.
