Republicans win big at Hob Nob in the Valley 2013

On Friday 350 people attended the 14th annual Hob Nob in the Shenandoah Valley sponsored by the Top of Virginia Regional Chamber of Commerce.  Tiero Cuccinelli and E.W. Jackson were among the speakers.  The event draws candidates from both sides of the political aisle and their supporters.  A straw poll was conducted with excellent results for republican candidates in Clarke and Frederick counties.

GOVERNOR

Cucinnelli (R) – 67%
McAuliffe (D) – 29%
Sarvis (L) – 4%

LT. GOV

Jackson (R) – 69%
Northam (D) – 31%

ATTORNEY GENERAL

Obenshain (R) – 73%
Herring (D) – 27%

10TH DISTRICT HOD

Minchew (R) – 78%
Johnson – 22%

29TH DISTRICT HOD

Berg (R) – 74%
Yates (D) – 41%

33TH DISTRICT HOD

LaRock (R) – 58%
Daniel (D) – 38%
Haggerty (L) – 4%
