Reeling from negative press, Planned Parenthood has mustered its liberal allies to show solidarity for the sale of baby body parts. Here in Virginia, The Sierra Club of Virginia just issued this statement in support of Planned Parenthood:
I originally saw this over at our friends’ site, Blue Virginia.
Weird. I was pretty sure when I woke up this morning saving the environment and Planned Parenthood have nothing to do with each other.
Then I found this:
I was still confused.
Access to family planning = a healthy environment
Huh?
Access to contraceptives = ability to adapt to a changing climate
What?
Opportunity to attend school = (effective) community resource management and economic vitality
I guess I agree on economic vitality…
So is the Sierra Club simply shilling for its liberal friend?
Sure, those of us on the right sometimes do this. Our allies need to be supported in their time of need.
I thought about his for a while and then……..BAM!
Environmentalists hate people, Planned Parenthood destroys people. It makes perfect sense!
Paul R. Ehrlich, the environmentalist boogey man and author of the Population Bomb in 1968 “warned of the mass starvation of humans in the 1970s and 1980s due to overpopulation.” As I remember, we all starved to death growing up in the 1980’s, so he was clearly right.
And then think about Margaret Sanger’s important eugenics based purpose behind Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood was supposed to curtail the growth of minority communities (and the poor) as undesirable. Environmentalists want to curb the growth of all humanity as undesirable. Basically the Sierra Club is supporting a Planned Parenthood as a modern day indiscriminate human population regulator.
Or the Sierra Club just views abortion based population control as an added bonus to contraception based population control.
