This sounds like bull shit.who cane up with this bollshit idea. I know politicians show me the money. I was a commercial fisher man f or 20 years. In Virginia. Sat on the advisory board. When are we congratulations get politicians out of our business and livelihood. Enough is enough with politicians determination to govern everything. What do they know unless the Reed or told what to vote on.

In Virginia, revenue from fishing license sales primarily funds the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (DWR) and its programs. This includes fisheries management, habitat improvement, and creating fishing opportunities. Specifically, the funds are used for things like lake and dam construction, maintenance, fish stocking, and developing shoreline access, just a mere $23.00 per year.
To help families visiting on vacation a 30 day license for $10.00 or a 30 day family license might be helpful for tourism and family vacationers.
If you’ve ever been on a boat at Smith Mountain Lake the Lord knows we need the law enforcement that comes from Virginia Conservation Officers.
