The University of Missouri Reynolds school of Journalism has done a survey of the news sources most trusted by Americans and those that are the least trusted. It seems Americans prefer to get their news from British sources. Market Watch has compiled a chart demonstrating those news sources, from the least trusted to the most trusted:
The ten most trusted sites for news:
- The Economist
- Public television
- Reuters
- BBC
- NPR
- PBS
- The Guardian
- The Wall Street Journal
- Los Angeles Times
- The Dallas Morning News
The ten least trusted sites for news:
- Occupy Democrats
- BuzzFeed
- Breitbart
- Social media
- Trump
- Infowars
- Yahoo
- Internet
- Huffington Post
- The Blaze
Does anyone really believe “Occupy Democrats” is a news source? The Washington Post and the New York Times should have received higher rankings among those sources that are not to be trusted.
