(UPDATED below)
The US House has passed a 45 day spending bill with a 335 to 91 vote. Speaker of the House had some Democrats support the bill while losing some votes from Republicans on the right. There is no new aid to Ukraine in the package.
It is not yet clear if the Senate will agree to the bill. If they do not agree the federal government will close at 12:01 AM tonight.
Live updates here at the Washington Post.
UPDATE: The Senate is scheduled to vote on the bill at 6:30 today. The Senate has agreed to the House bill 88-9, shutdown averted.

Think about how stupid this gumment is… on the one hand Powell is trying to raise interest rates to combat inflation… on the other hand Schumer/Turtle/McCarthy/Bribem spend money like there is no tomorrow.. the sticking point of the last near impasse… withholding 16 billion more to Ukraine..
The can is reaching a point it cannot continue to be kicked… Servicing the debt for this bloated government is going to approach 1 trillion dollars. And the idiots who are puppets of whoever makes decision in this stupid country, are hell bent on spending another 100 billion on a damn war that is already lost. Oh Raytheon wants to build a defense factory in Ukraine now of course with US tax dollars as that is what will be funding it… Ukraine has no damn money… The Russians will blow that to smithereens in minutes… Then more tax dollars to rebuild it…
There is nothing clean about kicking the can down a muddy road.
The GOP always show their true colors when it comes to spending. Uniparty needs to go!
