We’ve had a pretty good last 4 years. Virginia has gone from being a state on the decline to a state on the rise. Job creation has gone up, Governor Youngkin has taken on the woke mob who want to have males invade girl’s/women’s sports. We’ve gone from being a Commonwealth who wondered whether or not we were on the decline to a Commonwealth who is on the rise once again. We thank you Glenn Youngkin, Winsome Earle-Sears, and Jason Miyares for these things. We also thank Team GOP and our Delegates and Senators for fighting the woke mob that has taken over the Democrat Party.
So let’s keep the ball rolling and support our team of Winsome/Reid/Miyares. In Winsome Sears we have a conservative who will finally once and for all Axe the Car Tax. The Car Tax is an odious tax which was once ended, yet brought back by Tim Kaine. The Car Tax needs to go once and for all.
In John Reid, we have a conservative’s conservative who will vote with us movement conservatives on all things important to us.
In Jason Miyares, we have the People’s Protector who has been taking on drug dealers and trying to protect us from those who would harm our kids.
The Democrat Ticket? They support biological males participating in women’s sports. They support defund the police. Abigail Spanberger seems to be in bed with the Chinese Communist Party. The Democrat LT Governor candidate Ghazala Hashmi is a radical leftist who voted to kill the repeal of the car tax. Jay Jones hates cops. The entire Democrat ticket wants to take away our guns. They won’t really come out and say so, but that’s their agenda. Abigail Spanberger voted with Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden near 100% of the time. Virginia can’t handle 4 years of that group of radicals.
Sears/Reid/Miyares will protect our 2nd Amendment rights. This same ticket will bring more and more jobs to Virginia.
Some are upset with Winsome over an issue. Some are upset with Reid, others are upset with Jason. There are no perfect people, and no perfect candidates. There never will be. For those of you who say that Winsome isn’t pro-Trump enough, she supported the ticket publicly in 2024. For those who have a philosophical issue with Mr. Reid or Mr. Miyares, fact is that they are both right on all the issues that will come up over the next 4 years. I am proud and humbled to support this ticket.
If you want to turn Virginia into California East, then by all means stay at home this November. Hope you feel good about yourself once Democrats have destroyed Virginia because you stayed home and didn’t vote Team GOP/Winsome/Reid/Jason.
I look forward to having this fine group of American patriots leading Virginia over the next four years. Each of us should as well.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) and Republican gubernatorial nominee Winsome Earle-Sears attacked Democratic gubernatorial nominee Abigail Spanberger for receiving $50,000 from an individual whom they say is a member of the Chinese Communist Party. That individual, Pin Ni, has given money to many Republicans in the past, including $30,000 to the RNC since 2018, and $37,550 to the National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC) since 2019.
The RNC pushed the hit, and Fox News published a story without mentioning the donations from Ni to the RNC, NRCC, or a long list of Republicans.
Ni is the president of Wanxiang America Corporation, a Chinese-owned auto parts company based in Chicago. He serves as the executive vice president for the China-based parent company, Wanxiang Group.
Republicans claim Spanberger broke the law by accepting donations from a foreign national. However, public records show Ni was issued a Social Security number in 1992. While that does not confirm U.S. citizenship, it indicates he held at least a green card—making political contributions legal.
Even if that weren’t true, the RNC, the NRCC, former Vice President Mike Pence and several other Republicans who received donations from Ni would have broken the law with Spanberger.
“Virginians know that Abigail Spanberger has a demonstrated record of standing up for America’s national security, delivering results for Virginia families across party lines, and never backing down from keeping the American people safe,” said Spanberger spokesperson Libby Wiet. “Her campaign will remain focused on what Virginians care about most — keeping our communities safe, driving down costs, protecting Virginia jobs, and making sure Virginia’s public schools are the very best in America.”
The Earle-Sears campaign declined to comment. They did send a story from the Washington Free Beacon out as a press release, however. That article does not mention the Republican groups receiving money from Ni.

MORE CAR TAX HYPE
Both Winsome Earle Sears and Abigail Spanberger say they want to eliminate the hated “car tax.” Nobody likes the car tax, including me, but let’s get real. This is nothing more than a cheap political ploy.
The car tax, or personal property tax on cars and trucks, has been around for years. It is a major source of funding for local governments in Virginia.
Estimates are that it could take an additional $3 billion/year to fully eliminate the car tax and provide an equivalent ongoing revenue stream to local governments.
If the car tax were simply eliminated, and no equivilent ongoing revenue stream were provided, local governments would have to cut spending on local services, including public education and public safety, by $3 billion, which would be devastating.
The General Assembly passed legislation to phase out the car tax in 1998. However, that program was capped at $950 million/year in 2001 due to spiraling cost estimates that significantly exceeded initial projections.
Many politicians have promised to fully eliminate the car tax since that time, but none have succeeded, and neither will Sears or Spanberger. It’s just political hype.
If state leaders were serious about eliminating the car tax, they would have to give local governments the ability to make up the lost revenue with new forms of taxation. But they won’t do that because it would be perceived as authorizing a tax increase.
And they’re not going to cede existing state revenues to local governments because they don’t want to loose control of those revenues, which they need to fund state programs.
So don’t fall for the hype. The car tax isn’t likely going away, and if it does it will be replaced with some other form of taxation. It’s all a political shell game and smoke screen.

Often, I hear the tired and trite pushback from members of the Democratic Party that republicans are “racists,” “homophobes,” “bigots,” and unwelcoming to America’s immigrants. However, looking at the current Republican Party slate for Governor, Lieutenant, and Attorney General this November this is anything but the case. Let’s see we have Winsome-Sears a Black female immigrant for Jamaica running for Governor; John Reid an openly Gay Conservative running for Lieutenant-Governor, and lastly Jason Miyares of Cuban descent running for Attorney General. Hardly the ticket fits the description of the Republican Party of Virginia many Democrats would like you to believe !
I have had long conversations with all three candidates and can attest that their values and principles align with what we want for future generations of Virginians. This November let’s look beyond the name calling and trite talking points that Democrats will spew in an attempt to gain your vote. At the end of the day E Pluribus Unum” that translates to “Out of many, one” and all three Republican candidates who come from diverse backgrounds have earned you vote to ensure Virginia will indeed be united as one as we move forward
Excellent post James. I’ve been saying the same thing since the ticket was announced. It’s simple, vote Republican or lose what little freedoms we have permanently. Although I do have to admit that under Youngkin our freedoms were safeguarded so we stayed static. If, may God Almighty forbid it, Spanberger and her fellow travelers get into office it will be disastrous for the state.
