10th District Resolution on Medicaid expansion

written by Guest Contributor Andrew Nicholson April 18, 2018

On Tuesday night the 10th Congressional District Republican Committee unanimously passed the following resolution on the Budget and Medicaid Expansion:

Whereas, the debate over Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion in Virginia’s budget is causing unneeded uncertainty, controversy, and delays to the approval of a budget, and

Whereas, the 10th Congressional District Republican Committee opposes a shutdown of the Commonwealth of Virginia government; now, therefore be it,

Resolved, the 10th Congressional District Republican Committee supports the immediate passage of a state budget without Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion; and

Resolved, that the Chairman of the 10th Congressional District Republican Committee shall cause copies of this resolution to be disseminated to all Republican members of the General Assembly, and to the media.
