It’s been 12 days since Hurricane Helene unleashed devastation across the Southeast, and while entire communities in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina lay in ruin, our so-called leaders in Washington have been busy dodging accountability and making excuses. President Biden’s claim that victims are “very happy” with the federal response is not only tone-deaf, it’s downright insulting. What part of “happy” could he be referring to? The obliterated homes? The roads and bridges washed away? The 227 confirmed deaths? The floodwaters that have stolen lives and livelihoods? Biden and Harris are a national disgrace.
What about Kamala’s outrageous proposal at a recent campaign stop in Augusta, Georgia, where she offered a measly $750 per family for those whose lives were shattered by the storm. $750? That’s barely enough to cover groceries for a month, let alone rebuild after entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble.
While American families pick through the wreckage, the Biden-Harris Administration continues to send billions of taxpayer dollars overseas. Just this week Harris announced another $150 million in aid to Lebanon, which will go right into the pockets of the Hezbollah terrorist organization that controls the Lebanese government and is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans, among others. That’s right — Harris is providing more money to Hezbollah than to American hurricane victims. Our tax dollars flow freely to Ukraine and other foreign interests, while American citizens, ravaged by a natural disaster, are left to fend for themselves. It’s another example of our current leadership that puts America Last.
At a press conference last week, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas let slip that FEMA might not have enough funds to get through the rest of the hurricane season. The very agency tasked with helping Americans rebuild after disasters might run out of money, yet
If the past 12 days have made anything clear, it’s that the real help isn’t coming from Washington—it comes from We the People. It is neighbors, veterans, churches, charitable organizations, and other communities who are providing the supplies, shelter, and hope that FEMA and the federal government have failed to deliver. The responsibility of the government is to protect and care for its people in times of need, yet thousands of Americans are still without power, without homes, and without light at the end of the tunnel.
Conflicting reports continue to emerge about FEMA’s response to Helene, with rumors of bureaucratic delays and hampered efforts to get assistance where it’s needed most. Whether it’s intentional or just another example of incompetence, one thing is certain: the victims of this disaster are being failed by the very government that should be serving them during this crisis.
Many of you are familiar with Samaritan’s Purse, based in Boone, NC and part of the Billy Graham Ministry. They are right in the heart of one of the hardest-hit regions and have been on the ground since Day 1 of this disaster. Go to Samaritan’s Purse and watch a brief video by Franklin Graham, who is leading the charge to bring relief to the victims of Hurricane Helene. This organization has always done incredible work, and their efforts in the aftermath of this storm are incredible. I hope you’ll consider donating to either Samaritan’s Purse or to the fundraiser set up by President Trump’s Campaign: Support Hurricane Helene Victims.
Please continue to pray for those who lost everything when Hurricane Helene decimated their communities. America First – always!

All Gov’t agencies require mission review and budget audits.
U.S. Gov’t Agencies require better oversight, and adherence to their authorized functions.
All personnel positions should be reviewed and justified. We need to be able to hire better people and fire the bad actors.
Why do Gov’t employees, to include elected members of Congress, need a retirement pay?
You people say what you want to but it doesn’t change the truth one bit,
1) Republican’s failed to impeach Joe Biden over many constitutional issues.
2) Republican’s gave Biden $1.2 TRILLION IN 2021 by providing Pelosi the votes in the US House to pass HR 3684, Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Pelosi did not have and could not get the votes in her own party. I challenge you people to find where one penney of that Republican provided loot was spent in your district.
3) Under Republican’s Speaker’s Kevin McCarthy and Mike Johnson, and their failed leader Trump, the US House has been a chaotic, circus like, disaster. Their only claim to fame was throw/waste about $200 Billion at Israel and Ukraine.
4) The Republican’s own as much of the Ukraine loss as does Biden.
5) No resolution in spite of the endless US House investigations by the Republican’s , to the Hunter Biden laptop, and the millions paid by Ukraine, China, and Romania, while Joe was VP.
6) Fake “Christian”, Speaker of the US House, Mike Johnson, told us all for about 5 months that there would be no aid for Israel or Ukraine until we secure own southern border first. That was a flat out lie. After meeting in the oval office with Biden, aid for Israel nearly doubled to over $26 Billion, and Ukraine got another $66 Billion. Plus Taiwan got BILLIONS, and the civilians that Israel is murdering, they got about $9 BILLION. So, we are financing the killing by Israel in Gaza, while at the same time sending BILLIONS in aid to those being bombed by US planes and bombs by Israel.
7) I’ll be staying home on November 5.
Crognale’s burden of proof: “I wouldn’t be surprised if …” which is the point of so much around election time.
Forgive me but I don’t understand how a DA can go through a private business loan application and prosecute the business owner for an over evaluation of property (which the lender approved) yet still prosecute that business owner.
Yet
We can’t audit the books of FEMA, DHS and other government agencies and prosecute those agencies directors for misappropriation of public funds.
Now it seems to me that these folks can refuse FEMA assistance and of their own free will stay in their homes or on homesteads. The Federal Government in no way should be able to declare any of these areas as disaster areas. City folks and bureaucrats in DC may see a disaster area is a homestead to Appalachian Americans.
To be a just conservative you must stand on the side of freedom.
To be today’s Democrat you must also stand on the side of these Americans to exercise their right of free choice to take care of their lives in their own ways.
Now for functional ability of FEMA;
1) Has FEMA sent in portable solar generators for simple home use?
2) How many large commercial (pull behind) generators?
3) Has FEMA sent in tanker trucks of fuel to the small regional airports for the volunteer helicopter pilots & owners to use?
4) Has their been an Executive Order issued to assist in the cost of equipment being used by our fellow Appalachian Americans for rescue and cleanup?
With the Biden/Harris Administrations mismanagement of public funds for their unapproved immigration importation plan they could mismanage a little funding to assist Americans.
In my lifetime I have always seen our government coming together to help Americans but not this time and I feel that is deliberate or 100% ineptitude.
FJB & Commie Harris they are 🇺🇳 UN American.
Two weeks before this storm they bent over backwards for other countries in New York at the International Panhandlers Assembly at the UN building.
Oh and let time not bring us to forget Democrat President Joe Biden took 800 Million in PPE funding for his immigration importation policies.

Excellent summary!! Too many Americans are uninformed as to the true extent of the disaster laid upon this land by Morther Nature and her accomplices, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The lamestream media at its worst. Hurricane Katrina was George Bush’s fault because he didn’t go down to the Gulf coast and yell at the hurricane to stop in its tracks. Of course, crooked Democrat mayors in New Orleans year after year after year spending federal funds meant for repairs to and bolstering of the levees down there on other things had nothing to do with the flood that ensued.
Now we have a reckless administration in DC that has spent FEMA funds on housing, feeding, and caring for ILLEGAL ALIENS so there’s no money to actually help Americans who have literally lost all their possessions…and at least 200 their lives. To hell with them, right Joe? Right Kamala? Can’t wait to read your upcoming jointly authored book, Incompetence for Beginners.
One of those who thought about taking advantage of the $750 offer said that he read the fine print. He didn’t prove it but he said that it was actually a loan secured by the title to your property. The terms of repayment were one year. As I said, he didn’t prove it but I wouldn’t be surprised.
