At both the May 14th and May 28th committee meetings, Jennifer Brown refused to apologize to several people for lies she has posted about them on Facebook and in her re-election campaign materials. She repeated that this is all political speech, and by the way, no one has apologized to her, specifically mentioning the video posted of her cheerfully shredding the ballots after the one vote victory of Delegate Ronnie Campbell of District 24.
We apologize, Jennifer.
We are sorry that you were elected with so little experience, having never led a group of diverse and experienced unit chairs and elected representative of actual conservatives. It was tough for you, being the 6th District Chair for the past two years.
We are sorry you could not support the defense of the Committee from the FEC Complaint filed against the Committee, because those frivolous but expensive charges were used as part of your 2018 campaign.
We are sorry that you called an “Executive Committee” meeting in August 2018 and violated the By-Laws, and created a potential FEC situation by writing checks outside the approved Budget.
We are sorry you got bailed out from that improper check writing by the good will of the Committee.
We are sorry you tacitly backed a 1-vote win for an establishment Republican in the House of Delegates District 24 nomination race, and participated in the horrible optics of quickly shredding the ballots in that close four-way race.
We are sorry you sued a volunteer in your 2018 campaign when she changed her mind about supporting you, and tried to destroy her reputation. We are not sorry that this loyal Republican won her School Board position later, in spite of your actions.
We are sorry you removed a volunteer’s 2A rights over FaceBook dialogue that frightened you. We are sorry you look like a hypocrite to our community.
We are sorry you created a slogan for your 2020 campaign aimed at eliminating from the party “old people, white men, and so-called ‘radicals.’”
We are sorry you publicly wish to “rid the party of so-called ‘radicals.’”
We are sorry you don’t understand the meaning of the word “radical.”
We are sorry you won’t even try to work with the majority of the Committee, but rather seek division even where none exists.
We are sorry you are so tied in with the RPV Establishment that lost Virginia for the past few years.
We are sorry you didn’t make better choices, to elect more Republicans everywhere, not just support certain candidates that the misguided leadership of the RPV often prefers.
We are sorry you have been joined at the chest with RPV Chair Jack Wilson in his re-election campaign.
We are sorry for your “domestic” situation and involvement with a man who has threatened to shoot people, and rip off their limbs.
We are sorry that even after dozens of meetings over the past few years, you have not grown in that position as you should have – but instead became more bitter.
We are sorry that you achieved none of your stated goals from your outstanding and positive speech at the 2018 election.
We are sorry that you have conducted not a single fundraiser for the 6th District Committee in the past 24 months.
We are sorry that, in the last few months, you have decided to call yourself a Constitutional Conservative as a dog whistle to delegates.
We are sorry that you have failed in your greatest duty, to run excited and committed Republican candidates throughout the 6th District, and grow the conservative base.
We are sorry that so much of your energy over the past two years has been spent choosing which Republicans are “good for you, and suing or defaming those Republicans who are not “good for you.”
We are sorry that you have harmed the 6th District Congressman’s base of support throughout the 6th District, by driving good people away from politics altogether.
We are sorry that your antics and your tactics have in fact assisted the liberal agenda in our District.
We cannot be sorry enough.
