Dear Ms. McDaniel,
I wrote to you some time ago trying to let you know about how the GOP base in rural Virginia was bothered by actions taken by RNC. Not at all shockingly, you never did respond to my letter, however you have continued to send emails and fundraising letters asking for money.
As a party Chair, I understand better than most how money is necessary to fund party operations. However your refusal to donate needed funds to our legislative races in Virginia, possibly cost us the State Senate, certainly cost us the House of Delegates, and kneecapped our party and the conservative movement for years to come.
We know that you and RNC withheld funds because activists like Patty Lyman and Morton Blackwell backed a challenger named Harmeet Dhillon over you. Most GOP Unit Chairs in Virginia overwhelmingly backed Harmeet Dhillon over you. Instead of listening to your people, and learning from us about why we are upset, you decided to play petty politics and withheld funds that were needed for us to help Governor Youngkin’s legislative agenda.
You should learn from citizen leaders like Ben Cline. When Ben won the GOP nomination for Congress, it was a hard fought victory. Honestly the supporters of one of Ben’s major opponents were embittered. But Ben Cline did the right thing, and sat down with many of the supporters of Ben’s nomination opponents. This was appreciated by supporters of the other candidates. And most of them became supporters of Ben Cline. They remain so to this day. Ben’s healing behavior after the hard fought 2018 nomination is how each GOP candidate should act. Reach out to others, instead of trying to punish people.
You on the other hand, have authorized emails titled “Why Have You Abandoned Us” whilst begging for funds? Well the fact is that we have not abandoned you. However you and RNC have abandoned us. Given your refusal to send needed funds to Virginia, you have let We the People know just how low you and RNC think of us.
Please don’t try and blame the abortion debate for what happened in Virginia. Governor Youngkin’s 15 week abortion ban was favored by a slight majority of Virginians. And we ran a great slate of candidates around the state. No – the fact is, because the Virginia RNC Delegation favored another candidate for RNC Chair over you – in your pettiness – decided to punish Virginia because you didn’t appreciate being challenged by someone who better understood the GOP base.
The fact is that in each election you have been a part of as RNC Chair, from 2017 onwards, the GOP has lost significant ground, or has underperformed severely. Therefore, on behalf of every Republican volunteer, elected representative, and activist who has been betrayed by you and the Republican National Committee who resides inside the 6th Congressional District, I am hereby asking you to resign your post so we can find someone who listens to the base and will better ensure that our candidates get elected.
RIP
As many of you are now aware, my Mother, Louise Huston Massoud, left this Earth to be with God on Monday November 13. A special thank you to each of you who reached out to me, either on social media, or by phone, text, email etc. Your support means more than you can know. Fortunately she did not suffer for too long. She was given 90 days to live on Wednesday November 8, and went home on the 13th, shortly after noon.
Mom’s Memorial Service will be on Monday, November 20, 11 am, Stover Funeral Home, 177 N. Holliday Street. Strasburg Va.
I remain
your servant

The generation born between 1972 and 2005 is coming after you Republican fascists.
They are a generation that has no reason to believe the moronic myth of the “good” Republican.
They grew up sickened with your racist attacks on Barack Obama.
Then, they watched Donald Trump turn the Republican Party into a hate camp, and they saw Republicans at every level merrily go along with him.
The generation is “woke,” and your mocking of their wokeness makes you into everything they despise.
They have queer friends, they have trans friends, they have friends of different faiths.
They watched the George Floyd video and marched in Black Lives Matter protests and then watched as you lied and said they were violent rioters.
Then you banned the books they like and on top of everything else, you are continuing to destroy the climate, which screws them over for their futures.
Republicans will be sunk by this generation. And that’s a good thing.
There have been a few psychotic puppies on this site, but you are right up there with the sickest.
🙄
Translation: “I can’t stand the truth.”
Why is anybody complaining to her? She is performing precisely the job that the RNC hired her for – raise money to ensure that the consultants get paid while losing gracefully
1) So sorry for your loss, John.
2) You should have written your letter to Trump if you have issue with McDaniel. People do not seem to understand that Trump has total control of the Republican party. And, just like everything Trump, he is destroying it. Take a look at the U.S. House dysfunction if you do not believe it.
All of us working to see Virginia Republicans victorious asked the RNC to match the help the DNC was giving the other side, and they delivered a big fat zero.
Either Ronna Romney or the RNC itself must be replaced by a responsive Chairman or institution that supports the team. RPV should boycott RNC until this situation is resolved to our satisfaction.
Every time I go to donate, I am shunted to win red. I am sick of that abuse and, yes she should go now before she does further damage,
I don’t give a dime to the RNC, nor the RPV for that matter. They both are either globalist hacks, or dupes of same.
My money goes to individual campaigns that merit it.
