“Cannon fodder” is a term used to describe people who are expendable or exploitable during times of combat. Have you considered yourself “cannon fodder” during times of social unrest? It’s a valid question to contemplate in a tumultuous environment such as we witnessed in Charlottesville. And before and after Charlottesville, in cities around the country including Berkeley, San Francisco, Portland, Chicago, St. Louis, Philadelphia, New York and Boston.
The common thread running throughout the violence we’ve seen in these communities is that of the political Left, whose hallmark is violence and anarchy. It hasn’t reared its ugly head on a national scale in our country since the Vietnam War days of the 1960’s. Make no mistake, the political Left has returned with a vengeance. And Virginia residents best be informed about its history, its tentacles into the fabric of civil society, and the threat it poses to unsuspecting Americans who may be used as “cannon fodder” for its agenda.
There are four events in particular which should concern Virginia residents, especially those who live in northern Virginia as members of the greater Washington, DC community: The March to Confront White Supremacy, the Mother of All Rallies (MOAR), the People’s Congress of Resistance, and the March for Racial Justice.
First: “The March to Confront White Supremacy” is a 10-day march from Charlottesville, VA, “culminating in an occupation” of Washington, DC on September 6. “Occupation” Where have we heard that term before? Oh, yes, the “Occupy Movement.” One of the march’s objectives is to remove President Trump from office. To achieve that objective, organizers offer housing along the march route; basic meals, water and snacks; and transportation of marchers’ luggage. The original 200-strong marchers dwindled to 35 by the first day, inched back up to about 70 on the outskirts of Washington, and reportedly reached around 100 by the time the march ended in Washington, DC on Wednesday. Just who is paying for this?!
According to two march organizers, interviewed separately by DC local media, the march would lead to an undefined “escalation” of protest. Some of the marchers have now encamped in McPherson Square near the White House, and plan to stay there until the March for Racial Justice on September 30. More about that march later ….
Second: The Mother of All Rallies (MOAR) is scheduled for Saturday, September 16 in the shadow of the Washington Monument. When I first saw the announcement of this event, it claimed to be a “grassroots movement … to peacefully unite in honor of America.” But, upon closer reading and reflection, the wording seemed overdone and not genuine. I began to suspect that its theme was meant to lure innocent Americans into a violent clash with another event happening in Washington, DC at the same time — the People’s Congress of Resistance.
Third: The People’s Congress of Resistance is meeting in the nation’s capital September 16-17 at Howard University’s Blackburn Center. Visiting its website is a tutorial in the politics of the anarchist Left and the Resist movement that was birthed during Donald Trump’s inauguration. It’s not a coincidence. It is coordinated.
Fourth: The March for Racial Justice is scheduled for September 30, again in the nation’s capital. (Are you sensing a pattern here?) The march has a Facebook page, where it is soliciting donations and selling t-shirts, in true capitalist fashion. Other than that, at the moment the plans are somewhat murky.
Add to this volatile mix the Antifa movement, whose shadowy, masked members have been in the thick of violence at rallies, including Charlottesville. “Antifa” stands for “Anti-Fascist.” It is anything but anti-fascist. Its tactics are straight out of the Fascist’s handbook, but its propaganda wants to convince you otherwise. According to a 2016 confidential joint intelligence assessment by the FBI and Department of Homeland Security, Antifa’s activities have been classified as “domestic terrorist violence.”
Antifa is the latest manifestation of the political Left, enveloping previous forms taken by the Occupy and Resist movements — even infecting Black Lives Matter to advance its agenda. Its anarchist tactics and chaos-driven objectives are on full display with violent confrontations during public protests. One sign in Charlottesville proclaimed: “Donald Trump is the Symptom. Capitalism is the Disease.” The Left’s ultimate objective is the destruction of the United States, its Constitution, its free market system, and the Liberties we hold dear.
The bodies of innocents are strewn throughout the canvas of history, especially so at the hands of tyrants like Marx, Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Mao, Castro and, most recently, Venezuela’s Maduro who advanced their gruesome agendas with human cannon fodder.
Fellow Virginians, I implore you to study the political Left, its ties to Germany’s Frankfurt School and cultural Marxism, its history of violence, and its avowed hatred of the United States of America. The Left represents a clear and present danger to our self-governing Republic. As oxygen is to life, so are Individual citizens to the political Left which needs them as cannon fodder. Don’t succumb to its siren song.
