The recount of the vote for Attorney General of Virginia will begin in Fairfax county on December 16th. The rest of the state will begin their recount on the 17th. Currently only 165 votes separate the candidates from more than 2.2 million votes cast. A special recount court will meet on December 19 to review the results in the localities and to review challenged ballots. They hope to report the results of the recount by December 20th. The loser of the recount will have three days to decide if he wants to contest the results in the General Assembly.
