“Says a lot, doesn’t It? ” It says nothing. Thousands of industries make hundreds of billions in political contributions every year. It was he republicans who blew the lid off the goddamn thing, it was republicans who did the “corporations are people” ridiculous thing, it was republicans that planted the seeds for dark money.

You are insinuating that something is corrupt.

If you have an iota of proof, stop with the nasty innuendo and have the guts to say what you mean.

One day Trump’s attempt to establish a dictatorship in the US — supported by about 40 percent of the population – will be over and the rest of us will have to restore our democratic republic.

The question then will be how to deal with Trump’s followers. The example of Nazi Germany after WW II may be instructive.

“Historians have a word for Germans who joined the Nazi party, not because they hated Jews, but out of a hope for restored patriotism, or a sense of economic anxiety, or a hope to preserve their religious values, or dislike of their opponents, or raw political opportunism, or convenience, or ignorance, or greed.

That word is “Nazi.” Nobody cares about their motives anymore.

They joined what they joined. They lent their support and their moral approval. And, in so doing, they bound themselves to everything that came after. Who cares any more what particular knot they used in the binding?”

― A.R. Moxon

When Trump and his dictatorship are gone, and we are faced with dealing with his supporters, remember this:

“They joined what they joined.”

Then, treat them accordingly.

It would be interesting to correlate other donations to the above listed legislators to domestic and foreign entities.
Moreover, that influence becomes obviated when you see the anger in the questioning, and fierce language directed to an agency head, who left their party. And by God, he is suggesting that our health care system needs review and changed? What blasphemy.

so get to work correlating

Now that Trump has renamed the Dept of Defense into the Dept of War, what’s next? Does the US Army become “Die Wehrmacht” and the US Air Force “Die Luftwaffe?” Seems fitting.

Gulf of Mexico, DOD

And now that the Dept of Defense is Dept of War, does that mean Secretary of Defense Hogsbreath’s title will be changed to Secretary of DeWars — to commemorate his new organization and his alchoholism?

Come back to us when kids start dying of measles, polio, and smallpox. Oh, wait — kids in TX and AZ already are dying of measles.

Comeback to uswhen you control the borders so we can vaccinate all these unvaccinated border jumpers.

Deaths from measles in AZ and TX had nothing to do with people crossing the border. The deaths occurred in mature, settled communities. There also are measles outbreaks and deaths in Kansas, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York. All cases and deaths are unvaccinated people.

Let’s rmemember something: Back during the COVID pandemic, statistics show:

1. Counties that voted Republican in 2020 had a lower rate of vaccinations than counties that voted Democratic.

2. Counties that voted Republican in 2020 had a HIGHER DEATH RATE FROM COVID than counties that voted Democratic.

Let’s hope the Republicans keep it up; they’ll all die off during the measles, smallpox, polio, or COVID epidemic.
