A hearing has been scheduled for Friday in Prince William county court to determine if Chairman of the Board Corey Stewart, and four other Republican candidates, will be granted primaries rather than a firehouse primary or a convention. Previously, The Prince William county electoral board voted two to one against granting a primary to Chairman Stewart, Sheriff Glenn Hill, and Supervisors Marty Nohe and Maureen Caddigan. Chairman Stewart believes the vote by the electoral board was partisan:
“Well, I’d like to think that there wasn’t any foul play, but it certainly looks fishy,” he said.
