Donald Trump is leading in the majority of the battleground counties in swing states and gaining in the others according to axiomstrategies.com.
Loudoun county is the swing county in the state of Virginia. In June Hillary’s lead in Loudoun was 8%. In July she was up by 3%. As of September 8th her lead had been cut to 2%. The survey was taken on September 6th and 7th, prior to Hillary’s lies about her health and her deplorable comments.
In Loudoun Hillary had 44% support to Trump’s 42%, Johnson 10%, someone else 2% and undecided 2%. The difference between Trump and Clinton is well within the margin of error of 3.7%.
Both candidates had high unfavorable ratings, but Hillary’s were 2 points over Trump’s, 54% to 52%. Voters thought Hillary’s history of scandals was worse than Trumps by 46% to 42%.
In 2008 and 2012 Loudoun went for Obama, the first time the county had voted for a Democrat for President in over four decades.
