The current Speaker of the House of Delegates, Todd Gilbert, held off a challenge to his leadership by Delegate Terry Kilgore and will continue to lead House Republican caucus as minority leader.
Gilbert said:
“I’m honored that my colleagues have once again put their trust in me to lead our Republican team for the coming term,” Gilbert said Sunday. “I look forward to working with our caucus to advance our shared Republican values and serve as a check on the worst far-left policies put forward by the incoming Democratic majority.”
Del. Amanda Batten, (R-James City County) and Del. Michael Webert, (R-Fauquier) will also have Republican leadership positions when the new General Assembly convenes in January.

Minority leader needs to be Nick Freitas.
You mean the Guy who is so incompetent that he missed the filing date to get on the Ballot more than once, and had to spent thousands of dollars to conduct a write-in campaign.
I know that failing up is a Republican tradition, buy this suggestion is ridiculous
