The first debate between the two Virginia candidates for Senator will take place on July 26th, in West Virginia. Yes, West Virginia, at the Greenbrier resort. The debate will take place during the Virginia Bar Association’s summer meeting with live streaming online. The moderator will be Judy Woodruff of PBS.
Gillespie has accepted invitations to five other debates in Danville, Richmond, and two in northern Virginia. Warner has not yet committed to debates other than the first one. Gillespie is anxious to debate,
“These debates will provide Virginians a chance to hear directly from Mark Warner and me about our policies and visions for the future,”
