There has been major controversy spread on Facebook that former President Donald J. Trump is now selling copies of the Holy Bible but since those who have hatred for Trump refuse to search for the facts and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerburg and Co. seem to be unable to distinguish fact from opinion in this case and others unrelated, let me provide some facts so we can settle this and put this debate to rest.
1. The edition of the Bible in question is the “God Bless the USA Bible” available only in the King James Version which features a handwritten chorus to the song God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood, The US Constitution, The Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence and The Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Trump did endorse this edition of the Bible, however none of the money goes to him nor his presidential campaign.
3. This edition of the Bible is only available for purchase at godblesstheusabible.com for $60.
Well there you have it folks, Trump is not selling Bibles and that settles that. Now here’s my take on this edition of the Bible.
Do I plan on getting a copy for myself? No, while I do collect
different versions and editions for points of study and reference, to me regardless of the edition that nor an endorsement from Trump or anybody for that matter doesn’t make the Bible anymore special as the Bible to me is the Holy Word of God, His love letter to us and His communication to us in our daily walk with Him.
Take it from me who has endorsed, has voted for and plans on voting for Trump again. Trump’s endorsement of the Bible just simply means that he approves of this edition and like that of the Pope or any religious leader blessing an item or any form of relic, it doesn’t make it more supernatural, blessed or holy as they’re human beings made in the image of God just like you and me.
As a fellow patriot and a follower of Jesus Christ, I do have a copy of the The Founders Bible in my collection which features The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, The Declaration of Independence, Quotes, Essays and tons more information that is extremely helpful (I’ve used it a time or two for previous articles). But at the end of the day while these resources can be very helpful and informative, they cannot hold a match to the Holy Scriptures.
So what am I trying to say? There is only one perfect person and that is Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, the Word of God who was and always has been and will be forever more. No matter what the edition or who may endorse it, nothing surpasses or adds more meaning to the Word of God, while it may contain helpful resources neither are scripture or make it so.
Once more while I am a Trump supporter, I do not know his heart nor if he is truly a saved Christian (only God knows) and I pray he is or will surrender to Christ before it’s too late, I only bring this topic up to present the facts to the close minded and those who work to paint Trump as a villain toward evangelical voters.
Don’t believe me then go to godblesstheusabible.com under FAQ and there’s your source. While I don’t plan on getting a copy of this Bible, I’m not knocking it down or discouraging others from getting it as I’m sure it’s a great edition and I wouldn’t exclude it from my collection if given to me as a gift, however remember what makes it special and powerful to begin with.

GodBlessTheUSABible.com uses Donald J. Trump’s name, likeness and image under paid license from CIC Ventures LLC – so, while Trumps technically not selling Bibles, he’s endorsing the, and one of his LLC’s is collecting money for each one sold. I call that selling Bibles.
