At the last possible moment, Fairfax County has finally filed their provisional ballots. As expected, Mark Herring came out way ahead, 160 votes to 103 for Mark Obenshain. Fairfax statement is here. The current state count has Mark Herring up by 106 votes without the Fairfax provisional ballots. With the Fairfax provisional ballots included, Herring will lead by 163 votes. A recount is inevitable. The race won’t be decided until around Christmas. More here.
