Press Release February 7:
RICHMOND, VA – Governor Glenn Youngkin today released the following statement after House and Senate Democrats rejected 13 qualified university and state board members:
“This is a disappointing day, and I hope Virginians remember this moment of petty partisan politics. My administration has consistently stood for excellence by appointing outstanding leaders to Virginia’s university and state boards. I want to thank all of those who volunteered to serve and were unfortunately removed from their roles today. I remain grateful for their willingness to serve the Commonwealth.
“Today, the House failed to right the wrong that occurred in the Senate two weeks ago. House Democrats doubled down and removed four more individuals, including a former Democrat member of the Virginia Senate, a Hispanic war veteran, a well-published medical expert, and a native Virginian and military veteran.
“I remain stunned and disappointed that the democratic leadership saw fit to remove these thirteen highly qualified individuals who are nationally recognized leaders in the fields of law, finance, government, education, law enforcement, medicine, and veterans affairs, from these important roles. Most notably, a prominent Jewish civil rights attorney who has been an invaluable asset to George Mason University during a time where the campus has experienced a deeply concerning level of antisemitism and terrorist threats.
“The actions taken by the House and Senate Democrats hurt Virginia.”

They are obviously waiting for the next democrat governor who will undo all the good things that Glenn has done for the state. Democrats are rat batsards (deliberate misspelling), each and every one is a traitor . Bar none. There are no good democrats.
