Discussing the recent abortion bill introduced in the House of Delegates yesterday, the Governor said in a radio interview today a third-trimester baby could be born, and ‘kept comfortable’ while the parents and doctor decide whether or not to kill him/her. From thefederalist.com:
“If a mother is in labor…the infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and mother,” Northam said on WTOP’s “Ask The Governor” segment this morning.
Governor Northam is a Doctor, a pediatrician! What happened to “First do no harm”?
