In politics nowadays you have to be creative and think outside of the box to get attention in the news. If this campaign doesn’t get your attention, I don’t know what will!
I introduce you to Joni Ernst, a conservative female candidate running for U.S. Senate in Iowa. She has an impressive resume: mother, Lt. Col in the Iowa National Army Guard, farmer, and auditor. She is pro-life, a strong believer in the second amendment, an ardent defender of the Constitution and a fiscal conservative champion.
Her campaign ad teaser says, “Joni grew up castrating hogs on an Iowa farm, so in Washington, she’ll know how to cut pork!” Umm, do you really need to know anything more?! 🙂
Just so happens I have two hogs here at my new farm that will be making a trip to the butcher in the next few weeks. Of course, given my background as a past conservative candidate for U.S. Senate, current farmer, and lover of life, the 2nd amendment and fiscal restraint, she sounds great to me!
Her campaign ad is a MUST WATCH. I never thought I’d see a female conservative candidate tout her hog-castrating capabilities from the inside of a church. You gotta love it!
