Israel must finish the job and grind Hamas to dust.
What happened in Israel on October 7, 2023, should have been a moment of rare moral clarity for the Western World. One of history’s sporadic inflection points transcending politics and emotionalism, revealing the cold, naked truth about the world and the constant tension between good and evil, courage and fear, hope and despair.
Sadly, the elite ruling and managerial classes who would be our kings and queens are as befuddled as ever. They missed the moment. Likewise, the world’s corporate media complex, under the firm control of the hyper-radicalized crazies, left the moment unused.
These men and women view history through the prism of race and class. They are spiritually charmed by clever slogans, fashionable sentimentalities, and Marxist dogmas that they believe can right every wrong and wipe away every care.
Taken together, they are shallow and devious people, out of their depth, who detest the very humanity they pretend to represent and serve – which is precisely why they have proven to be so dangerous. They hate the truth above all else because when the truth is revealed and obvious, it exposes their own darkness. Then, they squeal profane condemnations at the deliverer and demand that the truth-teller be silenced.
Listening to the debate about Israel and the ongoing war against the monsters named Hamas – and now the Iranian Mullahs – tells you everything you need to know about the state of the Western world. With few exceptions, it’s in the hands of really awful people.
The state of Israel is the only functioning democracy in the Middle East. The pseudo-state of Palestine has been a story of brutal death, chaos, poverty, and corruption for 75 years. But, more than anything, the stone-hard heinous nature of radical Islam and the operational commands of Sharia law is what the craven leaders of the West turn their faces from – they dare not name it for fear of having to explain it. Or worse, confront it.
This isn’t a difficult story.
Briefly, what we call Palestine was never a nation, save for the ancient Kingdom of Israel and the Jewish people who trace their historical presence there back 3,000 years. Other predominantly Arab peoples came and went with the empires. (Recent DNA studies reveal that modern “Palestinians” are primarily from what is now Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and Bedouins.) This real estate was the pathway to three continents and the land bridge from Africa to the world. Since antiquity, it has been conquered and ruled by others, including the Assyrians, Romans, Egyptians, and the Ottoman Empire, to name a few. The last lost Palestine to Great Britain in WWI, and the League of Nations issued the British a mandate for control of Palestine, who had previously announced their support for a national home for the Jewish people in Palestine in the Balfour Declaration in 1917.
After WWII, the British renounced their mandate, and the replacement for the League of Nations, the United Nations, issued a partition plan for dividing the land into an Arab state and a Jewish state, in addition to a separate entity to oversee Jerusalem and Bethlehem. War broke out the next day between Arabs and other Arabs, and then Jewish settlers. After declaring itself a nation in 1948, Israel and its neighbors fell into all-out war as Egypt attacked Tel Aviv with airpower and the armies of Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria attacked by land.
The current war in Gaza is the seventh conflict since 1948.
Before the murders and kidnappings on October 7, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank had mainly been self-governed authorities for nearly 20 years. Hamas, a radical Islamist military movement, has been running Gaza since 2006 when it won an election against Fatah and the presiding Palestinian Authority. In 2007, Hamas murdered or imprisoned the remaining Fatah members and canceled all future elections.
So, while in the West, historical illiterates run amuck in the streets of major cities and on the campuses of major universities, screaming about Israeli “genocide” and “occupation” and “stealing” Palestine – and promoting the killing of the Jews “from the river (Jordan) to the Sea,” meaning all of Israel, the plain truth is that Hamas has been far more deadly to its fellow Arabs than the Jews. They “occupied” the Strip by force for nearly 20 years without an election. And, of course, nowhere has the state of Israel – unlike Sharia-practicing radicals – ever talked about the systematic and widespread extermination of Arabs anywhere.
Quite the contrary, Israel, in the Trump Presidency, moved quickly to assume a new role as a good neighbor through the Abraham Accords. Israel signed agreements for “normalization” with the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan and is continuing to expand ties with Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. It is quite an extraordinary evolution of both thought and practice.
Freedom House ranks Israel as a “free nation” with a score of 77, while most Arab countries – and all in the Middle East – are ranked as “not free.” Gaza ranked only an 8 score on the freedom index.
Israel is also one of the top 20 economies in the world, with a per capita income of $54,660 in 2022. Per capita income in Gaza in 2022 was only $1257; in the more moderate West Bank, $4458. The internal graft (including stealing the vast majority of food and medical aid provided by the West) is a crippling economic reality. (There are Hamas millionaires and at least two Hamas-connected billionaires (here).
Despite the history of the region, Israel is home to some two million ethnic Arab citizens, while there are no Jewish citizens in Gaza. Ethnic Arabs also hold about ten percent of the Knesset, the Israeli parliament seats.
Finally, there can never be a “two-state” solution where one party has pledged itself to work towards the eradication of all Jews, not only in the Middle East but worldwide. And the Palestinians have never abandoned the “right of return” demand. When the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat (another Palestinian billionaire) and head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, or PLO, was offered a two-state agreement in 2000 at Camp David with President Clinton and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, Arafat walked away because it did not contain a “right of return” for millions of Palestinians and their descendants who fled in 1948 to return and settle in Israel, which, of course, would actually create a one-state solution.
Whom the West must support isn’t a hard decision.
The West has the moral duty to support Israel. It’s a nation with faults and particularities like every country – but it’s a member of the free nations that honors the Judeo-Christian ethos of our Western heritage. It faces monsters in our time that hold millions of their own captive to spiritual darkness and poverty and threaten the peace of every neighbor. They live on hate, darkness, corruption and death.
No, the choice isn’t hard at all. Israel must finish the job and grind Hamas to dust.

Justice is defined clearly in the scriptures. “Be very sure of this, people never reject the Bible because they cannot understand it. They understand it only too well; they understand that it condemns their own behavior; they understand that it witnesses against their own sins, and summons them to judgment.” (Bishop J.C. Ryle) Therefore, these same progressives will end up rejecting any church which upholds the authority and infallibility of the Holy Bible… and thus also end up being intensely antisemitic and immune to the truth.
I just do not see rejection of Scripture at all being confined to progressives. Help me out with that one, as I just cannot get there. Not at all. The wholesale killing/bombing of civilians, (not Hamas) where exactly is that approved of in Scripture? How does protesting against the illegal killing of innocent civilians translate into antisemitism? Regardless, the only way for anyone, jews included, to enter into the Kingdom of God, is to be born again which requires accepting Jesus as the Christ. Doesn’t Scripture say they will accept Jesus? When and on what terms? What exactly am I missing here?
1) Well, first off, your interpretation of “finish the job” does not agree with the Israeli interpretation of “finish the job”. The Israeli interpretation of “finish the job” would be for the USA to overthrow not only Iran, but eventually the entire middle-east. Of course, this would all be a US operation, using US troops. Over 4400 US troops died overthrow Iraq because of intentionally false intelligence provided by Israel regarding non-existent WMD’s being in Iraq. Not one single Israel troop was killed in Iraq. No, not one.
2) Since 1948, has even one Israeli troop ever even been injured fighting in a U.S. conflict, much less dying? Yet, we are constantly reminded that Israeli is our ally.
3) Why isn’t Netanyahu being held accountable for not have troops on the 37 mile Gaza border? Palestine has been an enemy of the Jews for thousands of years.
4) As a country, Israel is one of the anti-Christ mentioned in 1 John 2:18-23 Not only does Israel deny Jesus is the Christ, they had him Crucified instead of the criminal Barabas.
5) Regarding October 7. Just how many illegal killings has Israel done inside Syria?
6) Will Biden likely send troops to overthrow Iran, as soon as the election results are in?
1John 18-23
“18 Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. 19 They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.
20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.[a] 21 I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. 22 Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.”
That is from the New Testament Mr. Giere. I suggest you read and study it before you delete this comment.
Finish the job? You mean completely kill all of the Palestinians? The Final Solution that Nuttyyahoo is undertaking now with US bombs? Biden’s the man for your job boy. Let’s reelect him. While we are at it, we can fund another five hundred billion or whatever it takes to kill all of the Ukrainians. Joe’s on that too.
Don’t give me that Marxist bullshit either… the opposition to this genocide is not doing it for left wing reasons. They want killing women and children to stop.
Do you get paid by AIPAC to write this sort of drivel?
Have you ever bothered to study the actual history of Islamic conquest and genocide? I suggest you study the Jinny genocide and the destruction of all religions in the mid-east over the past century. You might also consider the slaughter of Christian’s in Africa which is on going – or don’t Africans count.
Do you ever bother to update yourself with current events? The current objective estimate of Palestinians deaths are now at 30,000 and most of these are women and children. And Israel is pushing the envelope to a broader conflict thanks to pursuing this.
So does finishing the job to you and Griere above mean killing the rest of the people in Gaza?
Guess it does.
There are 5 million hamas/palestinians. 30000 dead is at the hands of hamas. There is no genocide.
