In CNU’s latest poll in the primary race for Governor the two Democrat candidates, Ralph Northam and Tom Perriello, are tied with each getting 26% of the vote, and 45% of Democrat voters undecided.
On the Republican side, Ed Gillespie is far ahead of his competitors with the support of 38% of Republican voters. Corey Stewart has only 11% support and Frank Wagner is at 10%. (Frankly, I am surprised Wagner does that well.) Over one-third of Republicans, 38%, are still undecided about who they will support in the June 13th primary.
Even more voters are undecided about Lt. Governor, a majority on both sides. For Republicans, Jill Vogel leads with 17%, Glen Davis is second with 13% and Bryce Reeves receives 10% of the vote. (Color me surprised.) On the Democrat side for LG, Susan Platt, former chief of staff for Joe Biden, leads with 20%, followed by Justin Fairfax with 11%, and Gene Rossi at 6%. Both Fairfax and Rossi are former federal prosecutors.
Another poll finding, a whopping 59% of Virginia voters disapprove of the job Trump is doing with 37% approving of his performance.
