Last month Ted Cruz announced his run for President at Liberty University. Now we learn that likely candidate for President, Jeb Bush, will be the commencement speaker at Liberty University on May 9th. [read_more]University President Jerry Falwell Sr. said,
“Liberty University is honored to welcome Gov. Jeb Bush to campus for our 42nd Commencement exercises.
“Throughout his years of public service, Governor Bush has been a champion for excellence in education and so many other issues of vital importance to our university community.”
Jeb Bush’s father, President George H.W. Bush, was the speaker at Liberty’s commencement in 1990. Other notable Republicans who have spoken at the school include Mitt Romney, Rand Paul, Rick Santorum, Rick Perry, Mike Huckabee, Ben Carson, Bobby Jindal, Michelle Bachmann and Herman Cain.
