With an approval rating of only 32% among veterans, the President was met with a less than enthusiastic response when he delivered the commencement speech at West Point. Less than a third of those present stood for the President. CNN referred to his reception as ‘icy’.

The speech was centered around Obama’s changes in foreign policy, and not about the West Point graduates. They deserved more from their Commander-in-Chief.
